Bed Rest Again

Well, 27 weeks is here! And all is well! I have had some complications (expescially in the last week or so) hydronaphrosis (sp?), UTI's, and now, preterm contractions. I woke up from a nap on Wed. with full blown contractions. I did everything I knew to do ie. warm bath, lots of water, relax, even some meditation and positive affirmations. But, by 8 they were still there. So, I called my sister (thank goodness for family that's close) and she came to watch the kids. Blaine drove me to the hospital and it was a very quick ride. lol I was defiantly contracting. Every 5 min or so but, I was not dilated!!! I still got a morphine shot (which I fought tooth and nail) which assisted. And, was sent home feeling very dizzy and tired. Now, I am on modified bed rest, so I don't get to do anything. :( But, I will do whatever it takes. This baby is healthy and is coming at 40 weeks!

The kids are being complete angels! Celia and Ethan have both found it exciting to sit and talk to Karianne. It is adorable! They will come and lay by me in the evening, and put their hand on my stomach, then proceed to tell her all about the toys they have and how she can play with them and how fun it will be when she arrives. Celia gets giddy every time she moves or kicks. She lets out this high pitched squeal and tosses her head back in laughter. Even Sy gets in on it. He loves to put his head on my stomach and wait for her to kick then looks up smiles with a giggle and puts his head back. They are all so excited and have been so good.
I went to the doctor today (urologist) he said that everything seems to be fine and to just keep him informed of anything new. He also said he sees no reason why I wouldn't be able to have the surgeries and still carry till 40 weeks!!! That is great news!!! So as long as I keep up the good health I am good to go. Depending on the OB. So, next week we ask the OB. I am so excited. Life is amazing and everything is so perfect!!!

Life is Lifeing

Well, life has definatly been lifeing this weekend. On friday I went to the OB he said everything looks good!! I was able to take the kids with me and they were so amazed at hearing Karianne's heartbeat! They all stood still for that one. (brief but very angelic:) I have been having some problems with my kidneys and urinary tract again so I was put on antibiotics. Well they didn't kick in fast enough and by Friday night I was wreathing in pain. (I hate pain meds and fought to take any at all) At 5 am Sat. morning Blaine was finally able to talk me into taking some and I had a wonderful sleep till almost noon. Saturday was mostly a blurr of sleep, drink water, take meds and sleep some more. That is what was deserved because by Sunday morning I was able to get up and move around. I was even able to go and hang out with some of Blaine's family Sunday evening! It was alot of fun. Thank goodness for pain meds and antibiotics!!
I am Healthy and Whole! The kids are angelic! And life is exactly what I ask for!

Why

Well, I have decided to start this blog to let all know of the amazing things that our family has been up to. I am excited to share with my familyand friends throughout the country, also for all of those who are related to my children that don't have contact with them for one reason or another.
This blog is to at least give everyone a little look into what our family is experiancing and learning as they grow into amazing young men and women. I am excited. ONE POST NOT EMAILING EVERYONES UNCLES BROTHER!!!! I can't wait to see this page all come together. Might take a little but excited non the less!
