LIFE IS SO VERY AMAZING!!! I went in for my third surgery during this pregnancy and this went crazy!!!! Started in the 400 campus, transferred me to River Road, then back to 400! LOL The surgery was then postponed because of all the stress I was now contracting and they just let me go ahead and have my beautiful little girl!!! Karianne Saelyse was born July 29th, 6:37 pm weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19.5 inches long, she is such a beautiful miracle in my life!!! She had a rocky start and got to go to the NICU on CPAP for about 9 hours, but pulled out quickly and joined me back in my room!! She is now working on keeping her billi levels down, and seems to be doing ok under the lights. A lot calmer than my other kids while under the lights!!!
Ethan is growing up so big!! This morning he came to me and said, "My cousin said that now I am a big brother and I get to be an example. So, I'm going to stop sucking my thumb! I didn't even do it last night!!!" He was so very excited. And loves to sit and hold his sister and tell her how beautiful she is. lol He also loves to color!! He has gone through 3 coloring books in the last month, his favorite part is the mazes!! He gets so excited when he makes it to the end! I am so proud of him!!!
Celia, WOW she is defiantly a crazy girl!!! She is always on the go, but, when she stops and holds still she is out like a light!!! Oh and, she has come upon an obsession for dresses. Most dresses will do, but, if I would let her she would wear her little yellow dress everyday rain or shine. (Even if it was filthy dirty from the day before) LOL She is getting so big!! I can't believe her birthday is coming up!! 3 years!! Doesn't seem like it's been that long.
SY, well, lets see, Banana, Mom, Grandma, Gramps, hat, ball, rock, and this are his most favorite words right now!! He is finally starting to want to stand and almost took a step on his own the other day but fell down on his bum. :) But, he stood back up. (not on his own, he is still holding on to things.) He loves books!!! And his grandma's little "eye winker" rhyme. He is hilarious when we do it!! Then he wants to tickle you and give you tons of love. He is my most lovey kid! He could sit on your lap forever and just hug and lay in your arms. He has such an amazing way at making my days shine!!
If You haven't got it yet, LIFE IS AMAZING!!! I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE LOVE I FEEL, FOR MY KIDS, AND FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF MY PURPOSE IN LIFE!!!

Transferred

Well, well, well, It has been awhile! Life has been very hectic but so worth every bit! I have transferred care down to St. George and now have my OB, a perinatoligist (sp?), and my urologist on my side. It is awesome how they are all contacting each other and all keeping me so well informed. The plan now is. . . I have my third surgery on the 29th of July, and they will have the baby on full monitors thought the whole thing and an emergency C-Section crew on stand by. I have a feeling I will be leaving the hospital on my own with 4 more weeks to wait till baby but, it is a great feeling knowing that I am being taken care of.
Ethan is amazing!!!! He is constantly wanting to make sure I have water to drink and today when I was getting really hot he came with a cold rag and rubbed my tummy saying how he wanted me to relax!!!
Celia has been going through a rough spot, but only because she has been spending extra time with one of her cousins. She is still my little princess, just a little touchy for the last couple days.
Sy, well, he is adventuresome! I don't know where or when but he has found his old binky (hasn't had one for a year). At first I took it away. That didn't work, he has learned to climb on chairs and got it off the table. So I gave up, boiled it, and he carried it around not wanting to use it just carry it. Well, bed time came, I put him to bed, went in to check on him, and there is that binky. . . stuck in his mouth and he is sound asleep. I can't decide if I am upset or not. I have been working so hard for him to stop sucking his thumb. Well, he's not doing that but man. . . I hate binkies!!! LOL
We are all getting so excited about the upcoming arrival to our family!! And the kids are amazingly supportive! My children are awesome!!!! We are having the most amazing time this summer!! Traveling, spending time with friends and family and enjoying the great weather!!
I just had my second surgery and everything is going great!!! I am so greatful for wonderful doctors and nurses!! It was a long day at the hospital but in the long run I actually got out earlier than I was expecting!! But, I am feeling great and ready to head back to grandmas.
Ethan is getting so big. He loves to do things for others and is allways assisting his brother and sister. He was feeling a little sick last night and puked 3 times. Thank goodness for grandma, she was there to hold him, clean him up, and get him comfortable enough to go back to sleep. He is feeling tired today, but had a good lunch and is napping now so the rest of the day will be a breaze.
Celia is the best little nurse a mom could ever have. She is there anytime I am not feeling well and always offers to rub my back and get me water. I love it when she says "Momma I will always take care of you." then she lays her head on my lap and wants me to rub her hair and kiss her forhead.
Sybren is growing bigger and bigger everyday. He is finally walking, well, he is holding on to things and walking but I know that within the next couple of days he will let go and go crazy walking and running everywhere. Then comes potty training!!!!!
Karrianne is still in my tummy but is movin like nobodys business exspecially when it's about time to eat!! You should see it!! My stomach has these very random bumps and movements, it's great to see how much she is growing!

Made it to 29 weeks!!

Well, 29 weeks has come and will soon be gone! I have been having a blast visiting my fam. I can't believe I am almost 3/4 ths of the way through this pregnancy! I have been very hormonal lately and I am sure that everyone can tell because of my crying/depressive days, but, like I said the pregnancy is almost over. Hormones will be back to "normal" soon and life will be great with a new little girl!!
Sybren is getting so big! My grandma has a jumper at her house and he loves to get in it! He is pulling himself up all over! He will be walking in no time!! I am so excited to see him getting so big!! Funny story. . . Anytime you ask him if he would like something he says uh huh and shakes his head no! And he really gets into it! Then when you give him what he wants he gets very excited and freaks out! He is so cute!!
Celia is such a copy cat! Any word she hears will come from her mouth shortly after she hears it. She has had a hard time lately and has had plenty of accidents in the last week. It has been a trial for us all but I have a feeling it is all over and she is back to being a big girl!
Ethan is amazing, he has assisted me so much in the last week. I wouldn't know what to do without him. He has found that he loves to swim and if I let him he would be in the water all day long!
Life is amazing!

Life Changes

There have been so many changes in our little families life in such a short while. . .
Till Karianne is born I will be back and forth between my grandma's and home, The kids are loving it, having space to play and having tons of kids to play with. But, it has been very emotional for me to be away. And to not know where much of my stuff is. And since I am on bed rest, I get yelled at when I go to unpack the car or anything. :(
Also, I am in deep sorrow for my wonderful ex-husband and all that he is going through. I have felt this pain since November and now my heart is even heavier now that his sentencing has gone through. I know that this is "for the greater good" but for some reason it all seems unreal. I pray for him every night. For his safety, and to feel the children's love and our Saviors.
I know that the Lord only gives us trials that we are able to handle. And all is well! I have had some complications (expescially in the last week or so) hydronaphrosis (sp?), UTI's, and now, preterm contractions. I woke up from a nap on Wed. with full blown contractions. I did everything I knew to do ie. warm bath, lots of water, relax, even some meditation and positive affirmations. But, by 8 they were still there. So, I called my sister (thank goodness for family that's close) and she came to watch the kids. Blaine drove me to the hospital and it was a very quick ride. lol I was defiantly contracting. Every 5 min or so but, I was not dilated!!! I still got a morphine shot (which I fought tooth and nail) which assisted. And, was sent home feeling very dizzy and tired. Now, I am on modified bed rest, so I don't get to do anything. :( But, I will do whatever it takes. This baby is healthy and is coming at 40 weeks!

Blessings

The kids are being complete angels! Celia and Ethan have both found it exciting to sit and talk to Karianne. It is adorable! They will come and lay by me in the evening, and put their hand on my stomach, then proceed to tell her all about the toys they have and how she can play with them and how fun it will be when she arrives. Celia gets giddy every time she moves or kicks. She lets out this high pitched squeal and tosses her head back in laughter. Even Sy gets in on it. He loves to put his head on my stomach and wait for her to kick then looks up smiles with a giggle and puts his head back. They are all so excited and have been so good.
I went to the doctor today (urologist) he said that everything seems to be fine and to just keep him informed of anything new. He also said he sees no reason why I wouldn't be able to have the surgeries and still carry till 40 weeks!!! That is great news!!! So as long as I keep up the good health I am good to go. Depending on the OB. So, next week we ask the OB. I am so excited. Life is amazing and everything is so perfect!!!

Life is Lifeing

Well, life has definatly been lifeing this weekend. On friday I went to the OB he said everything looks good!! I was able to take the kids with me and they were so amazed at hearing Karianne's heartbeat! They all stood still for that one. (brief but very angelic:) I have been having some problems with my kidneys and urinary tract again so I was put on antibiotics. Well they didn't kick in fast enough and by Friday night I was wreathing in pain. (I hate pain meds and fought to take any at all) At 5 am Sat. morning Blaine was finally able to talk me into taking some and I had a wonderful sleep till almost noon. Saturday was mostly a blurr of sleep, drink water, take meds and sleep some more. That is what was deserved because by Sunday morning I was able to get up and move around. I was even able to go and hang out with some of Blaine's family Sunday evening! It was alot of fun. Thank goodness for pain meds and antibiotics!!
I am Healthy and Whole! The kids are angelic! And life is exactly what I ask for!

Why

Well, I have decided to start this blog to let all know of the amazing things that our family has been up to.
